Maple Pork Loin

Use a little sweetness with your meat. Our Maple Butter gives your traditional pork loin extra flavor!


  • 8 oz. Minerva Dairy Maple Butter
  • 3 lb. Pork Loin Roast
  • 5 1/2 Tbsp. Pork Rub
  • 1 Vidalia Onion cut into thin slices
  • 3 stalks of Celery, sliced
  • 3 Carrots, sliced
  • 1 Granny Smith Apple, sliced
  • 1 Fuji Apple, sliced
  • 2 Gala Apples, sliced
  • 1 bottle of Samuel Adams Maple Ale
  • 1 cup Chicken Stock
  • 1 tsp. Balsamic Vinegar
  • Sea Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • The Rub:
  • 2 Tbsp. Black Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Sea Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. ground Ginger
  • 1/2 Tbsp. ground Cumin


Take 2 Tbsp. of the Minerva Dairy Maple Butter and sauté the veggies and apples with sea salt and black pepper to taste. Put remaining Maple Butter into the crockpot on high. Place the sautéed veggies and apples into crockpot. Rub down pork loin and sear on all sides over high heat in the same pan. Place seared pork loin into crockpot. Deglaze pan with beer and balsamic vinegar and pour over pork loin. Add the chicken stock and cook on high for 4 hours.
