Chorizo & Pear Panini

Craving something sweet and spicy? This panini is sure to satisfy.


  • 4 Tbsp. Minerva Dairy Maple Butter, melted
  • 1/2 lb. Minerva Dairy Farmer's Cheese, sliced
  • 1 lb. Chorizo Sausage made into patties and cooked
  • 1 Bartlett Pear, sliced
  • 1 Red Onion, sliced
  • 8 slices of rustic Italian Bread


Form four chorizo patties, thinning them and making them larger with the spatula in the pan as they cook - you don't want them to be too thick but instead to completely fit the bread. As the patties are cooking, warm your panini press and brush the melted Minerva Dairy Maple Butter on both sides of each slice of bread. Start assembling the sandwich by placing slice of Cheese, chorizo patty, sliced of pear, sliced of red onion, and finally more cheese. Place other slice on top and place into panini press. Cook until golden brown and cheese is melted.
